Sean Mullen is a commercial litigator with broad experience in state and federal courts in New York and throughout the United States, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. Sean also represents clients in both internal and regulatory investigations.

 

Sean’s practice includes a broad range of substantive issues and industries. He has represented clients in litigation and arbitration involving securities, complex international investments, LLC and partnership agreements, employment agreements, and other contract disputes.  Recently, Sean’s practice has focused on commercial contract litigation.

 

Sean began his legal career as an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he focused on commercial litigation and regulatory investigation and enforcement matters.  Sean’s work at Cleary included representing a large American bank in worldwide investigations involving multiple regulators in relation to alleged LIBOR and FX rate manipulation, representing a computer chip manufacturer in a patent license agreement lawsuit, and representing a well-known financial institution in an SEC investigation concerning algorithmic trading.
