Citigroup Gets Suit Over $832M In MBS Trimmed

 

"A New York federal judge has dismissed a large portion of a suit by U.S. Bank NA against Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corp. over $832 million worth of mortgage-backed securities, saying that U.S. Bank's complaint was 'rife with conjecture.' Citigroup is represented by Bruce Birenboim, Susanna Buergel, Brad Karp and Kevin O'Keefe of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP and Thomas Dewey and Daniel Shternfeld of Dewey Pegno & Kramarsky LLP. U.S. Bank is represented by Gayle Klein, Robert Scheef and Courtney Statfeld ofMcKool Smith PC."
