Angela focuses on complex commercial litigation with more than a decade of experience in federal and state court and before arbitral tribunals, including discovery, oral argument, written motion practice, trial and hearing practice, and appeals. She is also experienced in internal investigations on behalf of public companies. Angela takes a practical approach to assist clients in reaching their goals, whether through pre-dispute resolution or discovery, motion practice, and trial.

Angela’s recent matters include:

  • Obtaining dismissal of petition to confirm foreign arbitration award against former investors in a Chilean winery;

  • Obtaining dismissal of securities fraud class action complaint against former president of an international shipping company;

  • Representing demand committees formed by boards of directors of public companies to investigate shareholder allegations of breach of fiduciary duty, lack of oversight, waste, and material misstatements;

  • Employment litigation and counseling, including disputes concerning non-competes and other post-employment restrictions, compensation matters, and claims for theft of confidential information and trade secrets;

  • Bringing and opposing requests for temporary injunctive relief in federal and state court.


Angela was previously named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Before joining Dewey Pegno & Kramarsky LLP in 2012, Angela was a litigation associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, and in the St. Louis office of Bryan Cave LLP, where she worked on a broad range of matters, including trademark, consumer products liability, non-competition, class action, contract, and pro bono cases.

In addition to her litigation practice, Angela has a passion for improving educational access and learning. From 2015-2019, she worked for Keeling & Associates, a consulting firm that works to improve outcomes and experiences at colleges and universities through strategic planning, program reviews, and advising. She also served on her local school board’s task force to investigate strategic enrollment and planning options.
